Doesnt work on X Plane 10

It used to be a perfect application but it doesnt work since the last update of X Plane. Useless app now. Dont buy it.

The best avionics i have found

This is single handedly the best avionics (comm, autopilot, barometer, etc) panel for X-plane i have found. It doesnt require fancy graphics (although that’d be cool) but it gets the job done and fixes the issue of having to change frequencies or minute details with your mouse. now you can do it on the ipad! good stuff!

Great tool

Love using this app, makes x-plane much more user friendly. Any word on an update with GPS inputs?

Great for nav, comms & autopilot!!!

Setting radios and A/P in X-Plane can be cumbersome and distracting, never as easy as turning a knob or pushing a button in a real plane. This takes all of that hassle away, almost better than the real thing, allowing you to just fly the plane. If for no other reason, that makes it totally worth it. It should be standard equipment for X-Plane.

Awesome

I had this up and running in ten seconds, despite the warning that there was a bug. Ive used it with X-Plane to fly over cities and country side in the UK and Canada that I know well, and it was perfectly in sync. Plus it has a great overlay for comm and nav radio that seems to work pretty good. Just being able to glance down at where you are on the map is so cool. I have this and another app running on two separate ipads and they both work flawlessly, plus they probably take some load off the computer. Fantastic use of $3.00. Love it.

Hidden costs may be involved

This app doesnt seem to work with plane 9 They expect you to spend another $60 for the computer version of xplane 10

Great app

Great app, works perfect. Wish it had actual VNC sectional maps as the data base.

Must have!!!

Thanks for this app! Please add reflection of flight parameters, tracking.

Very Handy

Ive only used this app to track my flight, not to use it as a controller. It works great thus far. No plug-in is needed therefore it should work on Mac, Windows and Linux. (I use it on OS X). I have two enhancement suggestions. One, let it work in landscape mode as well as portrait (for flight tracking) and two, have a option to turn on a "trail line" that shows the path your aircraft has travelled. After reading the descriptions of a number of the other X-Plane flight tracking apps I am satisfied with this one. Again, no plug is needed. It uses the already built into iPhone/iPad control feature.

great app

this app is simple but great. i hope in the future it can show the path that the plane flies by

Great app

Easy to set up and use, a nice interface. The bonus is controlling your plane when you are without a joystick. I recommend this app to anyone who would like to track their flight, or even control it.

Help

Please Help! I purchased this app accidentally. I assumed it was for use with the iPad x-plane version ( which I have) but it turns out it can only be used with the PC version which I do not have. Can I please please get a refund ( or be given instructions as to how I can get my money back!? Thanks :) PS: I love the iPad app though!

Nifty app

Does exactly what they say. I really like it.

Good, but...

All the features work well, but path showing. I tried this app on iPhone 4 (5.0.1) and iPad 3 (6.0 and then 6.0.1) and it still doesnt work. Maybe, is there the solution?

Excellent App

Truly nice! I tried the free app first and it worked so well I bought the Pro right away. Everything works well including the path. The only comment Id like to make is when you use the satellite map its hard to see the plane, perhaps a change of color in the prefs would do it. Ive looking for something like that for years, thanks for bringing this out and for a excellent price!

A waste of money, buggy at best.

Intermittent functioning of this app was exasperating. Never really got it to work properly. Disappearing maps and broken connections made this app way to good to be true. Dumped it for the amazing FSWidget iGMapHD which, though expensive, blows X-Mapper out of the water…er…sky.

Excellent addition to X-Plane

Love this addition to X-Plane, particularly for the setting of the avionics... autopilot, tuning radio frequencies, etc. The tracking on the map is adequate for simple orientation. I use this app in conjunction with Foreflight. This app really helps make up for the shortcomings in the current aircraft (pay ware and freeware) available for X-Plane and how annoying it can be to tune radios with the thoroughly ridiculous stock Garmin 430 and operate the auto pilot. Well done.

croesch

Outstanding. This fills a critical flaw in X-Plane. Worth 10 times the price. X-Plane should just incorporate this into their program.

Not mad but disappointed

I bought this app after bring very satisfied with the demo version of it. Very disappointingly, the avionics didnt work and neither did the throttle, or "flight yoke." Maybe itll work on your device, but I can tell you now that you should consider the device youre using. Maybe the higher end, best apple devices will work, but my iPod wont work. Just something to think about. I bought this with an iTunes gift card from some website so the consequence isnt as bad, but it might be a worse feeling for another buyer. The only thing guaranteed, is a little less lag. The thing is Laminar Research are finally back, working on their mobile apps so keep updated I guess, and maybe this app will be as great as described...

It works well but needs bug fixes

The orange flight path sometimes gets buggy and doesnt show properly. I believe its simple to fix, and it has been a long time since this is happening and a see no updates on the app. Hope it gets worked through.
